Observations

  • A new kitchen sink that is eight inches deep instead of the old one that was only six inches deep makes a bigger difference than I anticipated. It's great for washing larger items by hand, like cookie sheets. Mmmmmm...... cookies!
  • It sucks that we all of a sudden haven't met the out of pocket annual maximum for coinsurance in 2005 due to a invoicing error on the provider's part. Now we owe a different vendor $250. I'm often thankful for the time I spent working in the benefits area of HR. It helps me be a much more informed consumer.
  • I'm curious about the new toll roads that opened in the Austin area today. Will enough people use them to make my commute less hectic?
